There are two  Uk \ud83c\uddec\ud83c\udde7 visa application centers in Lagos  (Ikeja and Victoria Island) and one in Abuja which are operated by Tlscontact. Here are few guidelines that will help you in getting through the submission, biometrics and collection stages at the Uk visa application  centers. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Note your appointment in your calendar and set a reminder. Though Tlscontact will send you reminders a week, 3 days and 24 hours before your scheduled appointment date. However make sure you have enough time to attend it and don\u2019t have other engagements that can clash with it. <\/li>
2. Wake up early to avoid the traffic congestion or early morning rush especially if your appointment is in the morning or if you are new in town and don\u2019t know the exact location . Try to arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You may not be allowed to enter before your scheduled time or if you come so late. It doesn\u2019t hurt to be around the premises before time. <\/li>
3. No food , drinks, metallic, sharp , dangerous objects  or weapons are allowed into the center. Go with clear bags or files that will hold your documents. No extra storage space, so leave Any unnecessary luggage at home. <\/li>
4. Your phones \/mobile devices are to be switched off or in air plane mode. No phone calls, audio or video recordings are allowed or any other listening devices that can cause distractions. <\/li>
5. Be sure to have all your documents with you especially your international passport , travel itinerary and evidence of funds that will support your stay during your visit to the United Kingdom. Other documents can include employment, business details , marriage or birth certificates of your kids, academic certificates, professional qualifications or licenses, land or property documents or your tenancy agreements, previous visas or travel history, letters of invitation, health certificates etc. <\/li>
6. All documents will be scanned and uploaded for processing by the British consulate. You can opt to do this by yourself (self service) prior to your appointment on the tls contact site or pay for the assisted self service and their agents will help you to do this. However make sure your documents (laminated documents, pictures, payslips, certificates, land documents etc) are in A4 size for easy scan. If not you will be asked to go and photocopy them . <\/li>
7. Go with extra cash and your atm cards. Business centers outside the visa submission centers accept cash or offer pos services, while the tls contact center only accept card for payments . Except you pay for premium service, you will be asked to make all photocopies or print outs outside the tls contact premises. <\/li>
8. Avoid patronizing touts who hang around visa centers, even tls officials are not the ones issuing visas, don\u2019t be a victim of scam or visa fraud. <\/li>
9. Follow the right queues and inform the officials of Tls  your exact mission or services you paid for ( Walk in appointment,priority, premium, visa submission, visa collection)<\/li>
10. When in doubt, ask questions or request for more information. Be aware and cautious of your surroundings. Report any suspicious  or unusual movement to the official present. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Note there are walk in appointments or appointments outside working hours but they come at an extra charge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
